Hybrid Mallee Burl Vase with Swirls

I transformed an Australian mallee burl or burr into a beautiful vase. Used clear epoxy resin and painted the burl with coloured golden sparkly resin to enhance the effects. 
Coloured swirls were introduced into the clear resin to add some extra effect to the overall project.
Wet sanded all the way to 3000grit and a light polish and buff to bring the shine out. Some Rubio Monocoat oil was applied to pop the grain also to provide protection to the wood
