Mallee Burl Hybrid Bowl

In this woodturning project, I transformed some offcuts mallee burl pieces into a stunning hybrid epoxy resin bowl. While working in larger projects, I always keep the offcuts since they are still an incredible wood and like to find a way to recycle them into all sorts of different projects. For this particular hybrid project, I used some chameleon epoxy mica pigments what created a stunning effect where the colours are shifting from one to another depending on the light.
 
Please note whilst this bowl is functional item, upon using it, sign of wear and tear will appear such as scratches in the resin.
