Mallee Burl Hybrid Green Vase

In this woodturning project, I transformed some offcuts mallee burl pieces into a stunning hybrid epoxy resin mini vase. While working in larger projects, I always keep the offcuts since they are still an incredible wood and like to find a way to recycle them into all sorts of different projects. For this particular hybrid project, I used some golden green mica pigments what created a stunning effect where the colours are shifting from one to another depending on the light.
 
To enhance its natural allure and provide long-lasting protection, we have meticulously applied a clear lacquer finish. This not only adds an extra layer of durability but also creates a high gloss finish that accentuates the intricate details of the wood.
